I need to appologize Allumni for the delay on this website over the past few months. Emails have been comming in
but I haven't had the opportunity to work on this site. My wife was pregnant and had severe complications and we spent
months at specialists ect... trying to save our unborn child with no success. It ended up with my wife in the hospital
losing a lot of blood. Then we neede to start the healing process. We are back on our feet hoping to try again
in the New Year. Thank You for your patience. I am looking for individuals to help me to run this site.

Folks, I have received an email from the principle at Pinehurst private school concerning a reunion there. "We would be pleased to host a MHS re-union. And, ... the gymnasium, auditorium, and cafeteria are all alive
and well.

the beginning of August, when he returns from his holidays.

put a reunion together Pinehurst has ok'd the use of Old MHS for us.

Catharines anytime after 4PM
Sjeila Morra, who was on the last School Council Chair, has in her possession a case of copies of the Aerial Picture

Just a quick Newsflash here. I have received word that Mr Hephil has been organizing a Christmas party
for former students of MHS right in Merritton. I'm not sure of the exact dates but will convey them to you once I receive
them.
Sadly, a few years back the school was closed and sold by the school board. It is now Pinehurst Private school.
Many times they tried to close the school and many times we fought them off but finally in the end they won. Thank you
too all those who did fight over the years. You put up an excellant fight.
I have been frustrated lately. I keep getting invites to come to these websites to find old school mates.
I go and I find them and then I can't communicate with them becasue you need to pay fees to do that. The Niagara District
School Board has nothing to communicate with classmates. So out of all this turmoil and frustration I decided to start
this site. Our goals are to establish a functional, free website that will allow all alumni to communicate with each
other. To possibly hold get togethers, reunions, and just reminiss on old friends and memories. Unfortunately,
this is not going to be an easy task. It will start of small and as we grow in members we hope to have more volunteers
to help run and maintain the website!
